Get your paddles up for the 2025 Tim Hortons GWN Dragon Boat Challenge.

Be one of the first 10 BCP teams to sign up and DA will cover your tent rental fee. 

Celebrating its 30th year in 2025, the GWN is a classic Dragon Boat festival and one of the premier events in the Major League Dragon Boat series, with teams coming from across Canada and the US to compete. 

Held at Marilyn Bell Park on the scenic Toronto waterfront, the festival offers a variety of activities for paddlers and their supporters, including a Family Fun Zone, a Food Truck Bazaar, Live Entertainment and a Beer Garden. The event is also home to the Breast Cancer Paddler (BCP, formerly BCS) Village — more on that below!

Join us for a day of races, fun and support. 

One incredible day of racing. 

All BCP races will be held on Saturday, September 6th. Not only does this help reduce registration fees, it allows teams within a few hours drive to come for the day and avoid the cost of accommodation.

And for teams that are staying over, it means more time over the weekend to explore downtown Toronto. Check out the thriving food, arts and theatre scenes, get some shopping in, or go on an urban hike. 

Meet you in the BCP Village.

Once again this year, Dragons Abreast will be hosting the Breast Cancer / All Cancer Paddler Village. Unique to the GWN, the Village is a featured area for BCP / ACP crews, their families, and supporters to use as a home during the festival. Tent rentals are available, and a complimentary breakfast is supplied by Tim Hortons, the event sponsor.

Dragons Abreast will pay the tent rental fees for the first 10 teams to sign up! It’s our way of saying thank you for your support.

Early Bird Discounts

Save up to $350 on fees before January 1st, 2025. 

Save up to $250 on fees before April 1st, 2025.

Save up to $100 on fees before May 1st, 2025.

After May 1st, 2025, you will pay the full price of $1,395, but you will still have a great time!
