Tim Hortons GWN Dragon Boat Challenge

Calling all Breast Cancer Paddler Teams

Get your paddles up for the 2024 Tim Hortons GWN Dragon Boat Challenge.

Saturday, September 7th, in downtown Toronto.

Running now for over 25 years, the GWN is a classic Dragon Boat festival and one of the premier events in the Major League Dragon Boat series, with teams coming from across Canada and the US to compete.

Held at Marilyn Bell Park on the scenic Toronto waterfront, the festival offers a variety of activities for paddlers and their supporters, including a Kids Zone, a Health and Wellness Zone, and a Beer Garden. The event is also home to the Breast Cancer Paddler (BCP, formerly BCS) Village — more on that below!

Join us for a day of races, fun and support.

All BCP Races are Saturday only.

New this year, all BCP races will be held on one day. Not only does this help reduce registration fees, it also means teams will have more time over the weekend to explore downtown Toronto. Check out the thriving food, arts and theatre scenes, get some shopping in, or go on an urban hike. Plus, the Dragons Abreast team is planning some fun events and surprises. Stay tuned!

Dragons Abreast is hosting the BCP Village.

This is a first for us. Unique to the GWN, the Breast Cancer / All Cancer Paddler Village is a featured area for BCP / ACP crews, their families, and supporters to use as a home during the festival. Tent rentals are available, and a complimentary breakfast is supplied by event sponsor Tim Hortons. We are thrilled to be hosting the Village this year, and we hope to see you there!

Early Bird Discounts

Save up to $200 on fees before May 1st. Ends on Wednesday, April 30th at 11:59 pm EST.
