How to join

Joining us is easy! If you check all the above criteria, then email us at newmembers@dragonsabreast.ca. And just like that, we’ll add your name to the DA mailing list and reach out when the new season is open for registration. Feel free to reach out with any questions as well.

New members are accepted annually until the end of January for that year’s season. The deadline for 2025 membership is January 31st, 2025. Yearly membership fees apply. Fundraising helps to keep the fees as low as possible.

We invite everyone interested in joining our team to attend an annual information meeting before the registration deadline. At this meeting you will learn more about Dragons Abreast, training and paddling information, the costs involved, potential races for the season, what gear you may need, and have the opportunity to ask any questions. Plus, you’ll get to meet many of the team members!

This year’s meeting will be held in early 2025, exact date TBD, in downtown Toronto. If you are a new member interested in attending, please let us know in your email.
